What identification should I bring?
Bring a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Contact Marc before the appointment if you are unsure whether your identification is acceptable.
Should I sign my documents in advance?
Usually, no. Complete any permitted blank fields, but wait to sign until the notary instructs you during the appointment.
Are mobile travel fees separate?
Yes. Any agreed travel expense is quoted before the appointment based on the location and circumstances, in addition to applicable notarial acts or specialty services.
Can Marc provide a witness?
Witness assistance may be available with advance notice and an additional disclosed fee. Document requirements vary, so confirm the number of witnesses before booking.
Does Marc provide legal advice?
No. A Virginia notary cannot choose documents, prepare legal documents, or advise you about their legal effect. Please consult the document recipient or a qualified attorney.
What does Apostille facilitation mean?
Marc can help coordinate document submission and return. The apostille itself is issued by the appropriate government authority, not by the notary.
